How should I study? I'm not sure what I need to know for the exam

All chapters are examinable, but you should allocate your time well.

Our courses cover everything that you will encounter on the exam. This means that you should know all of the content that is in the course.

However, you will want to study smart rather than study hard - this will save you time and effort! The exam will emphasize anatomy, physiology, and movement mechanics (over 60%), so ideally, you should spend more of your time understanding these topics. Here is the exam breakdown:

  1. Health-related benefits of physical activity – 3.5%
  2. Holistic approach to physical activity & lifestyle – 3.5%
  3. Anatomy – 15%
  4. Movement mechanics – 25%
  5. Physiology – 21.5%
