What is the minimum age to become a fitness professional with BCRPA?

16 years old. For personal trainer, you will need to be at least 18 years old.

The minimum age is 16 years old by the time you take the exam. You can begin studying before you turn 16 years old if you want.

If you want to become a personal trainer, you'll want to wait until you're 18 years old. In the meanwhile, you can begin studying for the Fitness Theory exam, take the exam, and select your specialty module (weight training, etc.). Once you've successfully passed that, you can continue on to personal training. By then, you'll have enough experience to become a personal trainer!
